Step 1: How to Connect WhatsApp to Textmagic

First, let’s connect your WhatsApp business account to Textmagic. You can do this in three simple steps.

  1. From your Textmagic app, go to Messenger -> Settings -> WhatsApp.
  2. Click Connect WhatsApp number if this is your first time or New WhatsApp number to add another number or account.
  3. Log in with your Facebook account and give Textmagic the necessary permissions. This keeps your integration safe and secure.
    • A Meta form will appear requesting you to fill in your business information. At this step, you can choose your Meta Business Portfolio or create a new one by clicking on the drop-down menu and selecting Create Business Portfolio.
    • Next, choose an existing WhatsApp Business Account and Number or create a new one. Follow the connection steps, then click Finish to complete the integration.

Step 2: Two-factor authentication

During the setup, you will also be asked to provide a 6-digit PIN to complete the two-factor authentication process. If 2FA was previously set up for the WhatsApp number, simply enter the PIN.

If 2FA is not active, activate it and set the PIN during the integration with Textmagic.

Step 3: Share your WhatsApp business number

To receive communications from customers, we recommend:

  • Printing or sharing the QR code on your website and other relevant places
  • Sharing the direct link to the chat on your contact pages

To test the connection, simply send a message to your WhatsApp business number, which should appear on the Textmagic Messenger screen. The integration has been successfully completed. You can start messaging using your WhatsApp business number.
