Verify your identity after making a purchase
Textmagic does everything possible to prevent anyone from sending fraudulent text messages through the Textmagic platform. Due to this, some orders may be manually reviewed before they are processed and you may be asked to complete an identity verification process.
How can I verify my identity?
Textmagic uses the Veriff.com online verification service when we need to verify the identity of a customer for any reason. The process is very simple and straightforward:
- Log in to the web app using a desktop computer or a mobile phone.
- Click the Verify your identity link in the top yellow bar.
- Fill in your real name as written on your ID identification document.
- Click the Verify your identity now button.
- Complete the process by adding good quality photos of your face and your ID (of both sides) – taken using your webcam or mobile phone camera. Just follow the prompts on the screen to add the photos.
I do not have a web camera on my computer. What can I do?
In case your desktop computer does not have a webcam, you can also log in to the Textmagic Web App using your mobile phone browser (not the Textmagic mobile app), and complete the verification process using your mobile phone camera.
What happens after I have completed the verification process?
After the verification process is completed, your order will be accepted within 5-15 minutes maximum, in the case that your verification was successful. If there is an issue and additional actions are required, you will be notified via email and you will need to perform the verification process from the beginning after addressing any issue raised in the email.
What if I don’t wish to or am unable to complete the verification process successfully?
All pending orders are reviewed manually by our billing team. In the case we are unable to verify your account, your order will be automatically canceled and refunded within 72 hours after the initial purchase.
Alternatively, you can pay via a bank transfer. In that case, verification is not needed.
Where are my photos and documents stored? Is it secure to share them with Textmagic and Veriff?
The uploaded photos and your verification data are stored secure data facilities in Ireland (Amazon Web Services), which is fully compliant with the European Union data regulations and GDPR.
