Organize your contacts automatically with segments
A segment is a dynamic group of contacts that is automatically updated based on the applied filters. Instead of manually managing static lists, segments allow you to organize contacts based on specific filter such as tags, country, last updated date, or any custom filters.
Segments are useful for targeting specific audiences dynamically. When contacts meet the set criteria (filter), they are automatically included in the segment, and when they no longer meet the criteria, they are removed.
To create a segment
- Go to Contacts -> Segments -> Click New segment -> Enter segment name and click Create.
- Apply filters to define the segment and click Save.
Available filters include:
- Tags – filter contacts by tags.
- Country – filter by the contact’s country.
- Date created/updated – include contacts added/updated within a specific timeframe.
- Channel – filter contacts based on the communication channel.
- More filters – additional options for refining your segment with dynamic fields.
Use your segment
- Once a segment is created, it can be used for bulk messaging, marketing campaigns, or follow-ups.
- Click on the segment name to view its details.
- You can edit the filters at any time to adjust the segment criteria.
Benefits of using segments
- Automatic contact grouping – no need for manual updates.
- Better targeting – create personalized campaigns for specific groups.
- Easy management – quickly find and send messages to relevant contacts.
