How to use forms to expand your marketing database

Putting one of our forms on your website will enable you to collect the mobile numbers of potential customers.

After embedding a form on your website or blog, all the mobile phone numbers collected will be automatically added to your online phonebook in a list of your choice. This enables you to send marketing texts to anyone who has signed up with just a few clicks.

To create a form:

  1. Create a list for the contacts you collect. Learn how to create lists.
  2. Go to the Forms page
  3. Click New form.

  4. Enter a form title. Give it an engaging and exciting name that will catch the eye.
  5. Type a description – something that will appeal to potential customers and persuade them to enter their mobile number.

  6. If required, change the titles of the name and mobile phone input labels.
  7. Select the colour of the form - light, dark or blue.
  8. Edit the width and height of the form to fit your website. If you are not sure how big the form should be, please consult your website administrator.

  9. Click New country and specify the countries where you wish to collect subscribers from.

  10. Select a list for your subscribers.

  11. When you are happy with the changes you have made, click Refresh preview. Refresh preview
  12. If everything looks OK, click Continue. Finish form creation
  13. The form is now ready to be embedded on your site.

To make changes to a form:

  1. Go to the Forms page.
  2. Click on the Edit button next to the form you want to change.

To delete a form:

  1. Go to the Forms page.
  2. Click on the rubbish bin icon after selecting the form

Remember that your subscribers can unsubscribe from your list by replying STOP to any text message you send.
